Frank - i read the Book of the Law and all I could think was "WOW, this guy Crowley is describing my bedroom to the letter" - he also has described some of my experiences in some of the other writings. I believe what I have is Hebrew and not Enochian - but I believe I obtained it by means of accidently evoking a name of some Enochian significance - at the time I had never heard the word enochian. I've read the dissertations on John Dee's work and the author believes that Crowley was trying to do the same thing and misstepped in his calculations on the opening of some gate and some sword of power (the 777) but I do know myself that the left hand sword is not meant for a man. Its meant for a woman. That is just straight up sephirotic decoding with the gender assignments to the number of man.

I did finally find the symbols, which were Hebrew which were one of the so called Names of god - Lamed Aleph and Samed - for years I mistook the Lamed for Arabic and the aleph was crooked from my point of view - but the manner in which I came across them most definitely was not a banishing situation as I first thought, (banishing being my first introducion to Enochian language from some tv show) - it was an evocation of some sort according to John Dee's writings. Apparently - according to the available Enochian literature, I accidently opened a gate of some sort - if that means anything to anyone - which would explain the strange visions I had immediately following the episode.

It might also explain why these symbols appeared to be burned onto my flesh with some sort of Signet immediately following the invocation when there was nobody around except one person who was touching my right hand. Some strange mark also appeared on the back of my right hand as well, blood red, with more scratches all down my right arm, which now, the scars appear to be in the shape of a rose stem with thorns and leaves.

I am in way over my head with what it all means - things like this don't happen to normal people and I can promise that I wasn't trying to practice any sort of invocation or evocation or anything. I am a bit curious about the hour it happened too; 11:04 on a friday night, what with the Hebrew and all.

If anyone can tell me if there is any significance to the number 7, a rose, a vision of a sword being plunged into my mouth, saying my name three times in a row by accident and then having wierd symbols all of a sudden burn onto my skin including this rose thing on my hand, please let me know. Its crazy. Oh there was something about a key too. I saw some keys and heard a weird voice say - those are the keys to David.

I do feel like I'm in the twilight zone. I used to go to church but if I told them any of this they'd probably think I was crazy.

Thank you so much Peter - I just realized that perhaps I should write Jim an email because the body of scholarship that seems to float into my life's circumstances of late is above my paygrade, so to speak - I was, most unfortunately, raised Presbyterian and know very little of these matters. But I will walk all paths before me until blocked and then take whichever opens up.

I have always thought it serious news but the police have never taken it seriously nor has the individual ever been found. In the beginning, I believed these symbols to be random gang symbols and was thoroughly uneducated as to the hebrew alphabet or any deeper meaning. The internet is a wide open library without guidance.

I myself am a former intelligence officer and took it upon myself to research their origin. At the very least I determined that there was a coherent symbol set and that all the marks and cuts were quite sophisticated and this meant a highly intelligent person. It has taken me 3 years to catch up in research.

I have learned in these three years about real kabbalist magicians using names to control people they belong to, the correlation between aramaic and hebrew and the special meanings of dates and times, none of which meant much to me prior to this.

Perhaps you or someone might help me. The three letters still branded onto my leg appear to be the Hebrew letters (right to left from my viewpoint) Lamed, samech and Aleph although the Aleph is turned slightly counterclockwise, which fooled me for years into believing it was an English "Z"

The mark on my upper right arm was more of a crescent trianclge, leaving a C shaped scar.

The assault took place and I now feel there is some significance to this, on a Friday night at about 11:15 pm.

This has remained a mystery to me. I was able to locate all of the drawings - especially the tree. This was of some comfort but its been hard going to find anyone who studies Kabbalah as it was meant to be studied.

I searched the world over for people who can articulate what I see intuitively. I see mysteries unveiled. I wish that I did not but I do. Some say patterns in chaos. Some say intutive symbology. I never knew what to call it until I started searching for answers from everyone. And I mean everyone. Universities, scholars, symbologists, kabbalists, archaeologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, rabbis of all strains, authors, theologians. No answers.

I see those here In scholarship and not strip mall kabbalah, and yes, I met them too. As I always say, there is no church who will have me as a member because of my rather unique burden of demanding truth from everything I see or hear.

How delightful to find that there is, in fact, keepers of the flame, in Thelema. They say one knows when one pulls a Tarot deck that this deck speaks to your soul. I only just learned this recently, Tarot, as I have been reading and drawing the Tarot for a long long time without knowing what it was, or that there were cards involved. Just as I have been drawing the Sephirot for years before I ever knew what it was called.

How did I get here? Three years ago, I awoke one night and drew a tree with nine branches and a crown at its head and the star of david at its root. I drew it over and over and over and did not know what it was. It took me a year to discover it.

Three years ago I was assaulted by unknown assailant and he branded my leg with a mark, later I discovered it to be the Hebrew letter Lamed tied to what I know now is a sigil of some sort. The scar is still there as it was done by signet ring. He also carved a letter in my thigh, a Het. I didn't know what these were at the time but months of study told me they were Hebrew. What I didn't know was that I was genetically Jewish. That took a DNA test which I wouldn't have ordered had it not been for the other things.

At that time I would never have suspected majick of any sort but I know better now.

This site has concluded this path for me. All of my search is over for the whys and the whats of these most unusual events, which shattered me. All the pieces are finally put together and I am again whole and now, thanks to you, I know it.

It can only be wielded by the harlot whose veil is in a state of removal, the beloved, the apocalypse of this mystery the restored wife.

Hello Frank - I'm searching in vain to identify a symbol or marking and have looked all over the world. I narrowed it down to being related to the lilith incantation bowls located in Nippur in 600 ad but these incantations have no signets to refer to. The last search lead to what commericially was referred to as an Enochian banishing sigil, and the one I found online looked very familiar and close to my symbol set, but I have no other leads. Any suggestions on where the experts might be for this?
