I think that the idea of threatening and insulting spirits to get results is a very Christian and old aeon idea. I prefer too treat them as persons who deserve some respect. However, I don't let them past the porch into my home without getting to know them. I don't see anything wrong with being polite and yet firm with good boundaries. Kind of like we would be with anyone on this plane.

I'm new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Scott and I work as a Jungian oriented Psychotherapist. I've been studying and practicing magick and mysticism for quite some time now, but most of my experience has been along the lines of traditional Golden Dawn. I am not new to Thelema but my commitment to Thelema is deeper than it has been in the past and I am looking forward to learning more.
I enjoy Magick, Tarot, Qabalah, Yoga, Psychology, and Ceremonial Magick. I have worked as a Tarot reader and integrate that into my healing work with clients. I love to read both old aeon and new aeon books about magick and seek to always find the old in the new and the new in the old. I also love to write about these subjects.
I enjoy reading a wide variety of mystical and magical subjects. I also enjoy travel, science fiction, camping, astronomy, and musical concerts.
