I've been sitting here and pondering this. In Qabalah this world is in Malkuth - on the bottom. In my country (Macedonia) and a lot more others around Europe that show shamanic roots the Tree is separated in 3 worlds: the roots are the underworld, the trunk is this world and the branches the upper world.
I was wondering are they even compatible? If so, how would you make any correspondences?

I know I am resurrecting an old thread....but I would really like to know the answer to this question too.
I am a level II practitioner and Reiki helped me a LOT with sensing energies in everything when I first started in my path.
Also, sometimes I am thinking if its Reiki that comes out of my fingers when I am tracing in the air. Because, almost every time I think about things like this - my palms start getting all tingling. I am not "turning it on" though when I do a ritual.

I left my country about 12 years ago, I live in Michigan now....so I know only 1 person from the O.T.O order from back home and he is the one that actually sparked my interest in this direction. However, I will go this summer over to Macedonia to visit my family and I will look up that paper. Is it a book or just an article written in newspaper?

I have been there too.....once I succumbed to it and then picked myself up again because it was eating me up big time. The second time I just kept it up. I usually do my work via meditation and have been looking forward to it daily, even getting a bit frustrated when I had people visiting and couldnt do it. Then all of a sudden a stopped caring so much and was finding every excuse in the book not to do it. But I had to persist and keep going.

I am an almost 33 years old stay-at-home mom of 2 girls. Have been seriously studying the occult since I was about 27. Before that it was just a vague interest. Now its more of a practice, even though that has gotten interrupted few times due to life 
Most of my practices have been wiccan in nature, because that was kinda easier to swallow I guess. Now I am working through Bardons "Initiation into Hermetics" and starting from the beginning.
I have been lurking for a bit (duuuuh...lol) and found a lot of answers to my dilemmas.....got to thank you all for sharing your knowledge!
