I think he does an excellent job at explaining Thelema in a way that normal people can understand. In my experience it's a hard religion to sum up or explain to someone who doesn't already have occult interests. Also, he's definitely an OTO apologist, so he may be a useful source for people wondering if the OTO is for them.

Quick question about Soror Estai A.'. A.'.I know that before writing to the Cancellarius you're expected to own physical copies of all books on the student syllabus. I've read/heard conflicting things as to what counts for The Equinox, is it just talking about volume 1? I've heard some people say that Gems From the Equinox is an appropriate substitute, is that correct? I just want to make sure I've got the right stuff before I start seeking admission. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
