Planets follow elliptical orbits, so that the distance is an average throughout the year.
The real sun-earth distance varies from second to second.

Where to begin practice?Interesting thoughts about the Resh, especially considering today's date:
Where I live sunrise is currently around 04:30, sunset 21:45.
Boleskine would be more like 04:15 and 22:20.
Then you have the midnight one.At midwinter, these times would be around 08:25 & 15:40, and 09:00 & 15:30 for Boleskine.
I'm guessing in California, for example, there would be much less variation due to the lattitude.

laughterJust read any of Crowley's books and it's obvious he had a great sense of humour.
e.g. his recommended reading list in Theory & Practice.
his rant about spiritualists in the same book, accussing them of being "obsessed with sex"
the story about his complaint about "conspicuous" prostitution in Foyers. -
Where to begin practice? Many thanks for your replies.
I have enough to keep my busy for quite some time, since I also have to make my weapons and form my temple.
LBRP is a good suggestion, of course!
Thanks again,
Njal.

Where to begin practice? After many years neglecting my studies, I have returned.
Recently I have re-read The Book of The Law and am re-reading Magick in Theory in Practice, paying especial attention to the appendices which I didn't grant enough attention to before.
As well as reading, I intend to restart my Magickal Record.
I am working alone.Where would you recommend I begin?
I have found some useful sounding exercise in:
Liber O vel Manus et Sagittae
Liber E vel Exercitiorum
Liber RV vel SpiritusBut am not sure which of these are appropriate.
Any ideas?
Eternal thanks. -
NjalGreetings.
My name is Njal and I am 34yo, from England.
I have been studying occultism since the age of approx 14.
I also study other magical systems such as norse, wiccan, heathen and even buddhist meditation.
But my main interest is Crowley and related.I have never been part of an organised group though!
