Hi All,
My Name is RC, im 25 and from the UK.
I've been looking at the forum for a month or so now and i decided to join up
i started my practices around five/six years ago
when i got into learning about eastern religions and philosophy's such as Taoism, vedism, Hinduism, shintoism and zen buddhism through taking a BA(Hons) philosophy and psychological studies degree.
but soon realized to fully understand i would have to take to practicing in some of these disiplines.
starting with yoga/meditation which still are of my main practices.
I was using the I Ching as a form of divination when i started looking at other types and came across Tarot and Aleister Crowleys Thoth deck.
I started learning about the deck and AC and was introduced to Magick and Thelema.
I came to realize through reading Liber AL vel Legis (book of the law) and Liber CLXV (a master of the temple, which i can relate too alot) that this is what ive been looking for.
I started purchasing books by AC and others and started to understand more about Thelema and The Occult.
I've been study Tarot, Astrology, Qabalah, rosy cross, magick ETC. for a few years now.
I soon will be looking to get in touch with an Order.. O.T.O (there is a oasis close) or/and the A.A. (if there is one, not sure if there is in the UK) for initiation. it is a privilege to be able to practice and be a thelemite.
Im looking forward to reading more post's on here and getting to know the community.. 93..
