VigorMortis93,
How's this for thread necromancy?
A re-introduction:
I'm Andy, I (still) live in San Francisco and I'm (still) a perpetual student of the mysteries. I'm fairly active in the Thelemic community in Northern California these days. I'm here to listen and, very occasionally, to speak up.
Though I've been reading these boards for a long time, I'm averaging about a single post a year, so I figured I would re-introduce myself in case I have a fit and start bumping the average to 2 a year
After 7 years here I've been delighted, challenged, educated, occasionally vexed, but never bored. Jim continues to run a good show.

Will93 Jim,
"Donna, I think you'd very much enjoy and benefit from this amazing book - I wish I'd written it (I think my review of it is still on the Amazon page):
Let Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation
by Parker J. Palmer "That's a fantastic book, Jim. I bought it some time ago and only just recently noticed your review. It has certainly helped me develop some insight into my own path.

I found portions of this essay by Uncle Aleister a pertinent meta-commentary on the ongoing discussion.

Thank you, Jim. Yes, I would very much appreciate it if you passed my address along. And I look forward to wading further into the discussion.

Greetings,
I have been lurking for a number of months, but I figure I should at least introduce myself.
I am Andrew and I have recently relocated to San Francisco from Southern California. A number of years ago I was affiliated an independent Thelemic group, but recently I have just studied on my own. My interests cover a rather broad spectrum...my friends have been known to refer to me as a collection of acquired tastes But a search for enlightenment does tend to be the center around which my other interests revolve.
I am also wondering if ToT has an active group in the SF area? The web site seems to indicate there is, but the introductory email I have sent has so far met with no response. Perhaps I just need to knock on the door again.Anyway, I continue to read these forums with great interest and I'll try to lurk a little less
