Necronomicon (Yeah, I'm rollling my eyes as well)
-
Hey everyone,
So, I've been a devout practicioner making steady progress and often
my wife will have very lucid dreams that sort of "poke out" of usual dreams
for her that she feels have more to do with steps to take while pursuing a particular
path. In this case, she had a dream that me and her were in a bookstore and that
she grabbed me a copy of "The Necronomicon".Now, when she told me this I was hesitant simply because it's not something
many western occultist bring up without cringing only because it's reputation as a book
kids grab to curse their friends for stealing their lunch money. But, bias aside I felt compelled
to investigate if need be...I would be given a sign. So, my local B&N has a very watered down spiritual section and I rarely look at it for that very reason
and stick to amazon. But, I had a change of heart and a book stood out to me "THE GATES OF THE NECRONOMICON"
by SIMON. I was very hesitant about it but I broke down and bought it because it was only 8 bucks and I tend to
see dreams as significant, albeit not always literal. So now here I am with this book and my question is, what does this
book mean? Is it just mythology or is there something more at work? My instincts tell me this has much to do with
the mastering of the Qlipoth and the Shadow. Being where I am right now as far as grade in A.'.A.'. (Dominus Liminus)
has much to do with confronting the darker aspects of one's psyche, but I'm totally off the mark and I'm about to do something self-destructive then I would love someone's input who KNOWS better.
It also reminded me of the Path of Nun. Well take it away folks, any conjecture is welcome as long as it is positive towards the
conversation at hand and not egoic pandering.P.S
The book was $8 New..so if it is just trash it wont be a loss. -
I think the Necronomicon has been discussed ad nauseum on this forum. Next time try the search feature please.

Summon forth the dead!
They are not done with ye yetUnfamiliar with that particular volume from "SIMON"
His plain ole Necronomicon was a combination of "real stuff," bull shit and mythology.
I expect the same, a thing dangerous for the unwary.
Have fun! -

strange events. I decided I had enough so I banished LBRP and LBRH as well as sprinkled the book with hyssop and disposed of it.
I'm opening this is. Lately it seem as thought I'm on the path of Nun and I was wondering if this is related. Anymore advice would be appreciated.thanks.

Haha MilkBoxx if i remember right we had talk already concerning this... indeed Necronomicon can make things happen. I guess anything can though. Just like even great material can not work at all...
I dont see it personaly as Nun related, rather Tav i'd say, though it certainly can be experienced again under Nun, i mean, at any level anything may be chosen at a particular time to be worked on again by HGA, and to some extent everything changes(is worked again) with any change. How can any thing change without everything else changing as well...

I was asking a question about a personal experience, not seeking the discussions of others.
I'm having a discussion and your response is the epitome of futility. -

That was my response to your magical question that isn't "seeking the discussions of others." I'm sorry if you perceive I intended to hurt your pride.

It certainly do not see it as Nun related.
The Necronomicon is more concerned with the "lesser Death"
That of the bodyIf my understanding serves me correctly (or I it)
Although the Path of Nun is associated with Death
The experience is very much one of Life
A transformation, a dissolution
Of the fear of Death
As it was accepted long ago as the price Mother asksThe Necro is very Lunar, when you should be "walking on Sunshine"
