.One of my favorite instructional books with so many caveats of seemingly basic and common sense ideas. Today I feel energetic and ready to rush forward - I am cautioned here to do so with a balance within myself to then apply to the environment. This is almost always true, I think, but the advice seems to be underscored today, sort of counseled with the tip of a sword, but without truly threatening me.

Tarot Meditation – Adjustment
The sky and the ground meet and on the line of horizon appears a doorway that splits the heavens and the earth. It is the domain of the medium of balance which weighs the sum of actions of heaven and earth, of ocean and of starry vault. I enter this dimension. There is an appearance of outer space. In its midst rests a sword of justice, of unimaginable proportions. It’s made of silver and diamonds. It causes lighting bolts to rip through the black space and with their light to burn in an instant those thing that are out of balance. It is the sword that purifies nature back into its equilibrium.
Lady Justice sits at her throne holding the sword. There are heavy chains all around her holding the massive scales weighing the worlds and the deeds of all the beings, determining proportions of things, dividing and assigning events to balance the ultimate account from beginningless times. She works through time and she is not limited by time, so that the deeds of old would be reconciled even aeons later. She works in the ultimate sense from a perspective greater than the one that can be assumed by the human mind in the human lifetime. All existence is contained on her scales. And no creature or demi-god can escape her balancing act. But to some with pure aspirations she assigns a gift of regulating forces so that they may remedy the weight of their past and adjust the future, to make their ascent on the stages of evolution unobstructed by their former karmic obscurations. She is stern and just, but she can also be in a form that is fluid, creative in motion - dancing among the constellations and through the circumstances unobstructed, unaffected by “good” or “bad”.
With a mind unconcerned by external conditions one can move without wavering directly on the path of an arrow or the lighting bolt. She is the all-seeing eye and she lives in consciousness of every being. She is the camera that never shuts off, imprinting images and stories into the vast film of collective unconscious embedded into Indra’s net. Not being controlled by time or space, her sword brings to justice every act, word and thought. She is the mistress of causation and the daughter of non-dual reality. To dance with her is to walk a blessed path of ascension.
