Difference between 7=4 and further grades in terms of power?
-
Following the recent topics where Jim precised one still works on the "tendencies" of the mind from 8=3 to 10=1, that normally one is able to choose the nature of incarnation at 10=1, and that a 8=3 "still makes choices" , i wonder if there is usually a visible difference in terms of power after 7=4.
I thought that there isnt, that the only difference is normally in terms of efficience and harmony, not in power, but seeing i was wrong on all things mentioned above, it is probable i'm wrong here too
I'm thinking for instance about physical manifestations, like hatha yoga or martial arts. And things like divination, levitation, projection, healing... Do you see a reason that a 8=3 could "perform" better than a 7=4? Or does the difference of level concerns mostly things so subtle that it doesnt translate into a difference in power of manifestations?
Also concerning higher powers, like omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence... do they increase up to 10=1, or one is already at "full power" in 7=4, and then rather just make them more somehow "self-flowing"?

Did I use that word? It doesn't seem like me. I'm wondering if this is your paraphrase. I usually reserve that word for a very precise purpose.
"i wonder if there is usually a visible difference in terms of power after 7=4."
The Magus 9=2 has enormous power (theoretically unlimited with respect to his or her distinctive Word).
"I'm thinking for instance about physical manifestations, like hatha yoga or martial arts. And things like divination, levitation, projection, healing... Do you see a reason that a 8=3 could "perform" better than a 7=4?"
Those matters are normally mastered before even 5=6 though, of course, there is expansion as adepthood arrives and matures. As for your explicit question... If these are actual necessary components of the Master's Will, then yes, the capacity expands. If it isn't then one actually may loose ability in them (nature withdraws capacity from things outside one's True Will).
"Also concerning higher powers, like omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence... do they increase up to 10=1, or one is already at "full power" in 7=4, and then rather just make them more somehow "self-flowing"?"
No, these would definitely increase after the Abyss.

"[the "crossing of the Abyss" is] a disentangling of the jumbled threads of "tendencies" to dissipate the illusion of any sense of self and life that existed before, the release of ego identification with any Ruach, Nefesh, or physical (Goof) aspects and the projection structures attached to them... etc. etc. etc.... yet there is still a star in the motion of Will and the condition of Love."
Different idea (I think).

Patrick, thanks. Yes, that is a very different idea than that "one still works on the "tendencies" of the mind from 8=3 to 10=1." In fact, it's exactly the opposite idea, since I said (and will stand by it ) that one disentangles these while crossing the Abyss, i.e., in advance of 8=3.
