"Liber LXV, Cap II, v. 53
- I am the heart, and Thou the serpent. Wind Thy coils closer about me, so that no light nor bliss may penetrate."
To be in a state of being, consciously, where one could say this, feel it, and experience it is a whole thing unto itself. It is intimate, ecstatic, comforting, and pure. Outwardly, we have to take on many personas - whether we are partners with others, parents, our occupational roles, our social roles and we act in certain ways in our moving through existence. At our core though we are all the heart and ultimately we await the venom of the serpent and to be consumed in union and to live abiding in love.
