[Original question deleted at OP's request. Answer retained...]

Answering your question is complicated, because it starts with a wrong premise or two and then builds more confusion on top of it. (Good time to ask a question! 😆 )

The sexual hypersatiation technique for inducing the S.O.S. is only one approach. BTW I'm not at all sure that Crowley ever used this one, though he likely was in situations close enough to give him the idea.

The key point, first, is that this is only one approach. Crowley wrote a wholly ceremonial approach (which, in practice, requires yoga plus ceremonial) a decade or so earlier. Both of these (and however else one might choose to approach the matter) are merely means to a mystical end.

So, to answer your question from one angle: If you leave the assistants and the sex out of the sexual hypersatiation technique, it doesn't leave much to go on.

And to answer it from another angle: If it isn't the sexual hypersatiation method per se that interests you, but rather the underlying goal, then you need to clarify what goal you are pursuing. S.O.S. per se is a mystical method and result rarely of use to anyone who hasn't already attained to the Knowledge & Conversation of the HGA, because it is a complete submerging of oneself in the "pool" of that Angel - but, names aside, you may have a different consequence in mind.
