Astral Temple yeah or meh ?

I used to use an Astral Temple a couple of decades ago, coincidentally at a time that I had a good number of interesting mystical experiences that inspire me to this day. Over time, I stopped maintaining it. As I begin to meditate on the Tree of Life and establish it's structure in my psyche, the idea of an Astral Temple came to mind.
Does anyone here find any value in creating and using an Astral Temple?
I understand the practical benefits of one, say if you don't have an appropriate environment for ritual, but other than that, is their any value to establishing one?
Anyone care to share their experiences? -

I expect there is some value in creating one and then some value in actually using one.
But it really depends on the ultimate Goal.
My Goal is God-Realization
anything on the astral/(kinda -sorta-Yetzirah?) level is of dubious value in that respect. But under particular circumstances it might be meaningful in an Eternal sense.
