    In what situations should one consider Boleskine as East? I know a few of Crowley's rituals call for this, but I don't really understand why it's used in certain cases but not in others.

      The way I interpret it is that it was something meant for him personally and for students he had during a slice in time. Maybe he gave it some kind of extra meaning Qabalistically or maybe it was just something that made sense at one point and then abandoned.

      Even facing opposite can be construed as still facing the home if you travel the long way accross the globe..lol.

      I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in...

        I have often wondered about this too, as for me, Boleskine is geographically North.
