Dying God vs. Everborning Child
-
I was trying to find something to help me organize my thoughts about living among people of two different Aeons and playing around with my cards. I found something that really worked for me. It really helps me to see things.
I made a hexagram and put the** Fool **at the top with the Devil at the bottom to represent the spectrum from *spiritual consciousness *at the top to *material consciousness *at the bottom.
I put masculine on the left and feminine on the right.
I added a level of active and passive variation.
The tarot spread follows the following format:----------Spiritual Consciousness
-Masculine Active----------Feminine Passive
-Masculine Passive---------**Feminine Active **
----------Material ConsciousnessThe actual spread follows. I was thinking about the diagonals that run from top left to bottom right and vice versa.
Top left to bottom right - The "active" spirituality of the Everborning Child.
Top right to bottom left - The "passive" spirituality of the Crucified God.For your perusal, comment, etc..
Moment of hilarity: If you use the BOTA deck and attributions instead, counterclockwise you find the word: Aleph Heh Vav Ayin Daleth Gimel, which in Texan is "I have a dog!" (After meditation on Fool ) With the Thoth attributions its: Aleph, Tzaddi, Vav, Ayin, Daleth, Gimel. "Etzvadag," or " 'At's You, a dog!" But I think there's more there than just that... for me anyway... lol...

Clarifying...
Those who exercise the spirituality of restraining the sex force (Pope and Mary - exoteric), so that it may be sublimated and used more consciously (esoteric), struggle against the everyday necessities of surviving life (Husband and Wife) and place restrictions on their activity.
Those who exercise the spirituality of implementing the sex force from the beginning (Emperor and Empress), so that it may be more consciously controlled and implemented without fear, struggle against sexual restrictions and codified elder wisdom (Hierophant and High Priestess), and must overcome them without being entrapped by them or the sex force they seek to protect.

I found that extremely funny.

This is a wonderful thought experiment.
I struggle with finding the middle of this exoteric/esoteric duality everyday.
It's like chasing your tail. Did you ever catch yours? -

I prefer chasing other tail, and letting others chase mine.

Lol, that gave me a visual of Benny Hill. I always wanted to be one of those little bunnies he was trying to catch....

"There are simply two perspectives. From a broader picture, they both align and are opposed simultaneously, and this seems perfectly fitting to me."
The Dance! I like how peacefully you speak of duality, usually so much tension. To shut up and Dance too is Wisdom incarncate. But! I'm preachin' to the choir, haha. I love this place.
