Egyptian Reconstructionism

I've recently come across this: www.spirit-alembic.com/egyptian.html
At that link is the HEBET EN BA(the book of the service of the soul), an Egyptian book of rites.
I find in it basically every rite I'd ever hope to preform as an aspirant to light. There is an intense purity in the motivations behind them, as well as in the actual recitation of them in the ancient tongue(which produces such a resonance as to make my Hebraic vibration practice look absolutely null).
Suddenly, Kabbalah feels incomplete. All things Judeo-Christian feel incomplete.
The Egyptian priesthood was remarkably shamanic in their leanings, and truly lived their dream.
Reading over these rites, I am beginning to see them as the fountainhead of all adept-hood.
Seamlessly condensed, and perfectly pure.
There is, essentially, an invocation of the HGA, a retrieval of soul memories, a formation of a light body, initiatory blessings, light healing, methods for the assumption of godhead...
All done within the Magician's circle, called to the four quarters, within the light of the eternal AMEN...
Is it too good to be true? Is there something Kabbalah has over this that I'm missing?
It all just seems like progressively sundered renditions of this original sublimity, so I've begun writing them all down in my journal and generally converting paradigms to test this out.
But I can't help but think of the Law, "5. Behold! the rituals of the old time are black. Let the evil ones be cast away; let the good ones be purged by the prophet! Then shall this Knowledge go aright."
Is it a bad idea to seek a reconstruction of past practice? It probably comes down to taste anyway, so I at least hope to share this link with you all.

Yes, but what of their adepts?
I certainly know modern society to preform all sorts of atrocities, and I certainly know many adepts within it that transcend them.
It is the inner tradition of Egypt that I am now very curious about; what was working behind mundane society. -

" find the most fascinating adept in ancient Egyptian history to be Imhotep. He was an architect, high priest, the true 'father of medicine', and the only man to be made a God in their history. If you're working the astral he's also a really nice fella/God to know too. "
Indeed! I am admittedly very behind on my Egyptology; a simple reading of the first paragraph of his Wikipedia page demonstrated to me why this must be remedied.
He basically sounds like the first Jesus, only one vastly more productive, and intriguing.I am just resonating so heavily with this culture right now, there's obviously something there my Angel is urging me to uncover.
