The A.'.A and The UK

I apologise if this is posted in the wrong place......
I have been looking for some sort of clarification as to whether there is an A.'.A lineage (if that is the correct word) in the UK. I am looking for such an organisation because I have gotten to the point where I am beginning to need some sort of guidance and I also want to partake in an initiatory system. However I don't want to be affiliated with the OTO but the A.'.A simply because I need a syllabus to stick to. And if there is currently no such organisation in the UK will there be one any time soon?
Any help would be much appreciated.
