Ceremony for Chesed - Looking for some pointers
-
I am in the process of preparing my temple for a Ceremony of Chesed. I have a couple questions pertaining to different aspects of the ritual, I'm hoping to get some guidance in this process!
Preliminary Work
#1 My intention.
I am interested in advancing my career in a specific direction. I've determined that Chesed is in alignment with my goal. Here is my first sticking point. I want to manifest this outcome, however I do not have the faculties to KNOW if this goal is in alignment with my True Will, and my highest good. For this reason, I already am hesitant to formulate my intention as "I WANT X".My proposed solution is to spend some time meditating and exploring an energetic space where advancing my career goal IS an expression of my True Will. This way when I perform my ceremony, I know my desire has been made an expression of my highest good.
Is this a legitimate way to formulate my desire as an extension of my True Will before the ceremony? If not, how can I better express my desire in terms of my True Will without understanding the real nature of my True Will at this point?
In the days leading up to my actual Ceremony (I don't actually know when it will be, I plan to just keep doing preliminary work until it feels right), I am doing meditation and ritual work, while constructing the talisman of Chesed & making my temple more elaborate with things that resonate with Chesed.
Part of my daily meditation practices, I go into my heart space and from there I ascend the color scales corresponding to Chesed, while vibrating the corresponding hebrew names associated with each. At each of the 4 worlds, I spend some time inviting the energies of Chesed closer, and with love. Within these vibrational spaces of Chesed I am also exploring energetic realities of advancing my career as an expression of True Will. I am exploring this reality at all four worlds, including Assiah.
The reason I'm doing these meditations is to become familiar with the energies of Chesed, and to link my desire to my true will, and express it through the forces of Chesed. Should I not be brining this down to Assiah at this point, if I am only trying to get familiar with these energies before my actual ceremony? If I am bringing it down to Assiah, how is this any different from doing an actual magick ritual? How should I adjust my meditations, if at all for the best results?
I'm also doing daily ritual work where I open my temple with the intention to: "Invite the forces of Chesed to my circle and to become familiar with these energies". I start with LBRP, LBRH, Raise my vibrational state through a form of Kundalini Yoga (Sahaja Yoga). I then ascend the four worlds corresponding to Chesed through the color scale and vibrating the Hebrew words of power at each world.
When I bring the energies down to Assiah, I vibrate the name of the Heaven of Assiah while performing the sign of the enterer while visualizing yellow sparks flying out of my finger tips and filling my circle with deep azure and yellow sparks. And release the forces from my circle, and close with banishing.
From here I just exist with these energies and invite them closer and meditate in them for some time.
For the Actual Ceremony:
After I have done this preliminary work for some time, I will do the ritual essentially the same. Except I will open the temple with the intention of consecrating my Talisman of Chesed with my desire. And when I perform the sign of the enterer while vibrating the Heaven of Assiah, I will direct the energies into the talisman instead of filling my circle. Now my preliminary work has a different intention than my actual ceremony. In my preliminary work, my intention is just to become friendly with these forces and explore and get a feel for the reality I'm trying to manifest.
Do you think its alright to have these different intentions? The fact that I am exploring these energies of Chesed, including my desire (all the way to Assiah) in the preliminary work in meditation, is this at all a problem? Should I avoid bringing these forces down to Assiah in the preliminary work, or should is what I'm doing now alright?
Is there any reason for me to include an Invoking ritual of Jupiter via the Hexagram ritual? What are some reasons for me to include or exclude this step?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I really appreciate any help! -
Another question regarding the Talismans. The ritual that I am doing is purely with the sphere of Chesed. Is there a distinction here between magic of the sephiroth vs the planets? When I call down the forces of the sephiroth through the color scale, am I also connecting to the planetary spirits/intelligence of Jupiter? Would I be overcomplicating things by including the planetary sigils of Jupiter on my talisman?

I'm far from being experienced in such kind of rituals though a more general answer might help too.
Yes and no. Yes as all is in the all and the all is in all. No as it is not necessarly significant. Even if you intend to do something, what will actually happen is what works at that exact moment. And what works depends on the alignement micro/macrocosm at any given time. So i guess you should know best what could work best for you at any given time.
And thats why i would ask directly God "if i were you". Maybe a method indicated by Nuit herself in the Book of the Law could work for you. For me it is very good !
When Crowley asks "who am i, and what shall be the sign", not only the most superb thing happens but also a very practical method to intuition is revealed. It is thus "the sign shall be my exctasy, the consciousness of the continuity of existence, the omnipresence of my body". As you mentionned you meditate a lot, you could use it to guide you in magick. If you know Nuit, then you can have an instant answer to any question. Whenever something is not clear(of course, not only then ), go to Nuit. From zero, count, 1, 2, 3... while maintaining zero. If it cannot be maintained, step back and correct. Another way is to focus onto something. Then change the point of vue youre focusing from until zero increases as much as possible while maintaining said focus.
The only danger is to come off as impolite to people, as you may end up asking questions and getting internal answer before said persons answer, thus making you forget to listen what he has to say

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law
My apologies in advance for pretending like I understand the nature of your question and experience in which you are working out. Everything that I say here is a lie and may do more harm than good. So, take ALL I say with the proverbial grain of salt.
Ceremonial Magick for me, at this time, seems to invoke energies that are a much higher frequency. However, so do many other things. My years of practicing Magick have not yielded me very much material success at this time. However, the workings I have done were metaphors for the amount of time, focus, energy, enthusiasm, hard-work, and determination that require success in any endeavor. That being said, do not neglect the simple task for am infesting desire.
In case you are still working on Chesed Ceremony, I hope this email will be of some value.
Your Outcome: Advance career in specific direction.
Since Chesed(Jupiter, Tsadekiel) represent expansiveness, growth, virtue and fortune…makes sense why you would invoke these!
Preliminary Questions(for you to answer):
what direction specifically do I want to go in?
who is already doing this that I can contact?
what is the shortest fastest and most effective way to get there?I know words are a poor tool to communicate, so please forgive me for butchering the meaning in which you originally intended for the post. And, please excuse my ignorant answers.
The post said, you didn’t know if it was in alignment with your True Will.
To me, I think anything that deals with health, wealth, and happiness IS in your True Will. So, don’t worry about that.
I apologize for my projection here, but the way that’s worded makes it sound like you’re looking for a sure thing.
Your True Will IS to See Your Desire Manifest Itself- does that shed any light on your questions about real nature and True Will. Regardless, if thats true or not. We Brothers of Light do not fiddle with Doubt or Uncertainty- those are the works of the black brothers.
Anyway, continuing with the Cermony Part….
As far as ceremonially, You are on track with attributing the colors and images in your temple to match the sephiroth in which you’re working. Good Job!
To become familiar with any energies: Fake the behaviors of the energies until they become you. This is done physically in the body. The mind can only take you so far. So, with Chesed…start doing the behaviors that are in alignment with your career along with your meditations.
You’re internal representation of what you are doing is Really vivid in detail. And, awesome job on the daily practices!
And Yes, include Jupiter because its associated with Chesed. Also, invoke Tsadkiel- the archangel associated with that sephiroth.
As far as ceremonially, you are doing well.
But, for me- True Ceremony is harder than actually obtaining a particular goal IF you do everything to the T.
Hope this gives some light!
Yours Falsely,
Frater Seth
