Geburah

"I have a strong fascination with a particular sephirah and all of it's correspondences. Does it mean anything in relation to true will or otherwise?"
It may. Good chance it does. ("Mean anything" gives a lot of latitude! )
If so, you should be able to confirm it astrologically.
"I have also managed to reconcile many life experiences and desires according to the virtue and vice of that sephirah. Can any significance be learned from this?"
Yes, of course - that you probably have that planetary energy strong in your make-up, therefore its positive and negative attributes would be basic to your character.
If you'd like to post the day, month, year, time, and place of your birth, we could check.

Is that January 7, or 1 July?

Here are the planet positions in your horoscope (Sidereal zodiac):
Sun 21 Sag 47 Moon 29 Can 45 Mercury 0 Cap 51 Venus 25 Cap 23 Mars 4 Sco 38 Jupiter 26 Pis 06 Saturn 1 Sag 38 Uranus 3 Sag 28 Neptune 13 Sag 27 Pluto 17 Lib 35 Asc 27 Pis 24 MC 15 Sag 00``` Mars is not strong in this horoscope. In fact, the relevant fact is probably that it is the least important planet here (meaning, the least represented planetary archetype in your psyche). Mars rules neither luminary sign, is away from the angles, and has no significant aspects other than a moderately wide sextile to Mercury. It is, however, in its own sign of Scorpio, so it's nature is something of a "pure" Mars. The planets dominant in the chart are of a very different sort - Jupiter, Venus, and Neptune. Jupiter is clearly the strongest, most predominant planet in the horoscope. Jupiter itself sits just above the Ascendant (1°18' by zodiac, if a noon time is correct; and when taken spatially, rather than by zodiac, only 0°46' above the horizon). It's in its own sign, Pisces. The Sun is in Jupiter's sign Sagittarius and in moderately close square to Jupiter. The Moon is in Jupiter's exaltation, Cancer. The Midheaven and Ascendant are Sagittarius-Pisces. That's a lot of Jupiter! Supporting this direction, the Moon is opposite Venus, and Neptune is at the Midheaven - giving major emphasis to those planets as well. Some of this depends on the accuracy of the birthtime, of course; but Mars wouldn't have been brought into angular prominence until about 1:30 PM. My assessment, based on this, is that your psyche recognizes the relative absence of the Mars theme and your life has been providing experiences which compensate for that, giving you the chance to grow in it, etc. (For example, I have virtual absence of Saturn in my chart - many of my ordeals, especially in my first 30 years, dealt with having a very non-Saturnian personality). Another way to say this is that, in terms of the sephiroth, this is more of a Chesed chart, against which Geburah is a reasonable balance or compensation. The rising Jupiter in Pisces (etc.) BTW is a spectacular match to your online handle, "Techpriest."

Wow, This information is very interesting to me. As far as your assessment goes, I completely agree with it. The idea I had come upon was that, all my life I have lacked the Severity necessary to live as I wish. Instead I have always been too lenient/kind/forgiving, far too much, in far too many situations.
I also began to reconcile some of my biological experiences in this way. I had cancer when I was a child and I think that this may have been an attempt to give me what was necessary in the realm of strength. But, the lesson was not learned then, and is only finally coming to somewhat of a development now.
It is also an idea that the True Will would seek to balance it's astrological overcompensations, therefore pushing me towards certain experiences. Is there any validity in this?
I have begun to assume the god form of Horus. Is there any other practices you could recommend to me?

Your answer shows a good level of self-understanding - you've obviously been some solid work in that area.

Yes. Quite definitely.
In fact, one of the main practices in post-Medieval talismanic magic is to examine the horoscope for its weaknesses (or for its worst sides) and create a talisman to imbue a healthy, strong expression of those energies. Your psyche / HGA / universe is simply taking up this task on its own, as often happens.
Using myself as an example, the near-absence of Saturn in my chart means that I'm going to screw up on situations that require things like (oh, say) financial prudence. Because of this, life's lessons are going to appear in the form of (oh, say) financial crises. This is going to have a tendency to "adjust" me over time. In fact, in my early 20s I mated with a woman who has a Saturn-dominated chart tied well into mine, and I spent years "learning Saturn" from her. A few years of that and I seem almost normal.
"I have begun to assume the god form of Horus. Is there any other practices you could recommend to me?"
Actually, I recommend the best balanced training possible. For example, meditating on Atu XVI, The Tower, would add more Mars, but it would be out of balance (out of context) and over-compensatory, and would draw compensatory reactions from the universe. In comparison, meditaitng on all the cards in sequence would also fill in the weak spots while stabilizing the strong ones. Apply this principle to other things you try.

What about doing Pathworking?

I was doing my best not to give you a specific curriculum, but would recommend you generalize the last general recommendation I gave to the pathworking question.

I appreciate the info Jim, I also appreciate your not pushing any particular set of instructions on me (like so many "teachers"). I actually began with the meditation on the tarot today. I got some very interesting results during and after meditation on the fool. Once again, thanks much.
