I encourage such courtesies (the posting of Introductions) from the new members of sites I manage, so it's only right that I demonstrate them here.
My mundane name is Paul Feazey and I'm the owner and editor of LAShTAL.COM which, among other things, is the home of The Aleister Crowley Society.
Declared myself to be a Thelemite when a precocious 13-year old but that was almost 32 years ago and I've learnt a lot since then - mostly I've learnt how much there is to learn. Still consider myself a Thelemite, although...
Not much more to declare here: I consider the five essential books to be the current edition of The Holy Books of Thelema, the big-blue-brick Magick, The Mystical and Magical System of the A .'. A .'., Kaczynski's Perdurabo and, of course, Crowley's Confessions. BUT... The most essential thing of all is to actually read the things. Study and self-discipline are such forgotten qualities amongst modern Thelemites, don't you think?
I'm here, by the way, to shut up and learn. 'Nuff said.

Not really the place for discussions like this, though, eh?

Paul, a belated welcome to this forum. It's an honor to have you here.
PS - I have no idea what the above controversy is about, but will pause to say that I've also never banned anyone because I disagreed with them - but have banned a very few people with whom I disagree for other reasons - primarily that they couldn't, or wouldn't, abide by a few minimal rules of respect.

The honour really is all mine. I admire and respect what you have achieved and written.Regarding the comments of young Aum418, there really is no controversy. In the ten years of LAShTAL.COM's online existence I've had to ban only a dozen usernames or so; the fact that five of those usernames belonged to Aum418 probably tells you all you need to know!
Anyway, this isn't the place to boast about how long-suffering my little web site is. As I think I mentioned, I'm here to read, learn and maybe, on occasions, throw in an observation or two. And I promise to do my best to refrain from responding to the heckling of disgruntled ex-members of other sites!

93,
To clarify, not only was I banned from the forums but all IPs that ever accessed were banned from ever seeing LAShTAL.com again (including from reading the Bibliographica Thelemica and the Galleries)... Most likely because I pointed out 3 specific occasions where ianrons, the moderator, was violating the Forum Guidelines by launching personal attacks against a particular forum goer of whom he did not like his attitude or ideas. It seems to be personal becuase Paul removed the Journal of Thelemic Studies from the Downloads section even though its obviously of note for the Thelemic community. He wont even announce the next issue of the Journal even though it will include people like James Augustus Newcomb...
Secondly, the reason I had '5 usenames' was because he would ban one username without letting me respond and defend myself whatsoever! Its quite clear why I would make a name, also to let people know how to contact me, but Paul continued to ban me on sight! I really only want to propagate Thelema even though people may disagree at times... I really dont understand the hostility? I emailed asking what I could do to regain access to LAShTAL and the question still remains...
This may not be the best place 'for this' but you have banned me from possibly communicating with you through your site, you dont respond to the majority of my messages, and you delete your posts on Erwin's website... Ive been trying to communicate consistently and trying to figure things out. Isnt it possible that we can possibly get over grudges and move on? Perhaps work together?

"Aum418,
This really isn't the place. Your anger at LAShTAL.COM has nothing to do with this rather excellent site.
Paul"
93,
Again, Paul, this might not be 'the place,' but you've made it exceedingly difficult to communicate with you on any other front (impossible through your own site). Also, I am not 'angry' at LAShTAL.com as you may wish to paint me - if anything, I am frustrated by the lack of communication and its thwarted potential. This site, or forum rather, is quite good - we can agree on that.

Thanks kuniggety... A "different focus" indeed, but with a rather intriguing overlap...
