Oh, hell no. I don't encourage people to spend that kind of money either! (There's a certain emotional gratification at how highly it is valued but, from the point of view of wanting to put it in people's hands at a fair price, I don't think people generally should be paying that price. - Collectors, of course, always will do things like that.)

Yeah, I got my copy from a half price book store in houston I think. The price was justifiable

I am one of those crazy book fiends.I bought my copy for $800.00 and have no regrets. The book is unique and worth every cent.I figure in ten years my copy will be worth around $20,000.00 and I will be able to retire early.

I paid the cover price for mine ($37). I have made jokes about how much some of my books go for now to my wife (case in point of you spending $800 on this book) and she said how if I die, the first thing she's doing is selling my library, lol.

Make sure she lets us know

Hehe let me start scouring I have surpised myself of late by doing some digging.. you can make some huge savings I picked up the Geoffrey James Enochian book for like £12 I have seen it going for well over $300 .. And I also got Magick without tears for £10 and thats also been fetching high prices.. The most I have paid for a book is $200 maybe I should up my ante and stop grumbling
-
No one's selling Magick Without Tears cheap? I think on Amazon it's going for like 100 dollars. Still too expensive for a book for me. The only books I have paid 100 or more dollars for are Lane's Arabic lexicon.

That's a real shame. Look, save your money and go download the pdf for free off the internet.

It's just not the same as having a book.

"Don't know if I said this before, but you see how cheap and easy lulu.com is, right?"
I can attest to the easiness of lulu as I used it for the Journal of Thelemic Studies, but you cannot just put anything up on lulu. The materials for MWT are copyrighted and so it would be illegal to do such - one would need permission and Im guessing one would never get it (especially since Ive heard they plan to reissue it soon along with new diaries and Temple of Solomon the King standalone)

K this is kinda off topic.. but does anyone have a copy of The Winged Beetle by AC (a collection of his poetry) they're looking to sell? I'm absolutely smitten with it but it's rather hard to come by (limited printing from @1920's I think)! Thankfully it usually goes for only about $100 which I would be more than willing to pay provided I have the funds during the window of opportunity... Thanks

Looks like it can indeed be bought quite easily for $100.00;

I think the point being that sure have the 24ct gold embossed edition, consecrated on Mt Sinai by naked nubile virgin serfs in the moonlight. But I have no qualms buying a Paperpack edition..

I skimmed through the book and didn't find anything mentioned about the Star Ruby nor Star Sapphire, could anyone point me, maybe I overlooked? If not then why weren't they included?

They're mentioned in the syllabus section - Appendix D.

I found them there, thank you!

It's currently out of print. I'm responsible for some errata before we take it back into print. There might be a couple of copies left in our Grand Imperator's possession and I could forward him your email address if you like.
While I'm very proud of how the hard cover was manufactured, and generally recommend, I do have a (very) few copies of the Version 3 softcover. If you're just interested in the content, you might want that."93
It seems like I have been waiting for forever for this book to become available again. Is there any way that we can put our name and email address on a list so we can be notified that the book is back in print? I seriously do not want to take the chance of not getting my copy when it sells like hot cakes.
Any plans for any special editions in leather (or anything like that). I would be happy with any hard cover, so I don't want to come off as too greedy.
Seriously, if it doesn't come back in print soon my girlfriend might make me spend $700 to get a copy. Help!
Thanks Mr. Eshelman for writing (by all the accounts I have heard) a really great book.... now if only we could get the chance to actually read it ourselves!
