    Greetings to all
This is a post regarding self-initiation through the A.'.A.'. system. If you are sick of reading posts of this type, you are very welcome to leave.
I write this because I have reached somewhat of a dead end on my path toward supreme attainment (in this life or the next). I am an initiate of the first degree of O.T.O. as well as BOTA, and while I treasure those I know in the orders and the gnosis that they hold secret, I am convinced that my true path lies within that of the A.'.A.'.
The dead end is this, my brothers and sisters, I live in Australia where there does not seem to be any (visible) presence of the A.'.A.'.
My only option, so it seems, is to self-initiate myself through the system, while not being official, the work will be done and that is what matters. What I require is somewhat of a mentor, or 'acting neophyte', to guide my hand as I go this alone. For if i am left to own devices I am sure to be persuaded by youthful folly (and attain nothing)! Too often I heard stories of irresponsible derelicts who have claimed to self-initiate through 8=3, such stories are an insult to the system and I will in no way contribute to them with my journey.
This person would receive my working diary at the required times, and should be prepared to enter into exhaustive correspondence concerning the work. A member of the order will do best.
I am not sure whether a post such as this 'steps on the toes' of those who are legitimate initiates of the order, and if it does, I offer my sincerest apologies. But my spiritual progress is the only thing that really matters to me in my life, and if I am to offend a person or two in attempting to reach my goals, then so be it.
Those who are sincerely interested in assisting me toward Keter are welcome to PM me.

Why is it that you cannot leave Austrailia?
If you want this..shouldn't you make it your will to do this?

I thought you had to discover your Will, not invent it.

I was a Chartered body master and Initiator of the MMM degrees of the Caliphate O.T.O. for approximately 11 years.

Although I no longer am dues current, nor do I wish to be a part of the Caliphate Order anymore (Since 2001), I do hold ties with the A.'.A.'.

This is not C.O.T. or T.O.T.

If interested, feel free to contact me and we can talk.

First results from my meditation were that I understood I don't have to go ANYWHERE because it's all the same everywhere.
    Just sit & practice.
P.S. I can't believe that there are no yoga teachers in Australia nor people that can AP!

I have found the Complete M&M System of the AA to be the best source of "where to go, what to do," for myself, who also cannot travel to a Temple. Obviously you need access to the Libers to fully immerse in it, but I also found that "The Tree of Life," and "The Golden Dawn" to be excellent sources of material to study and give one direction. Obviously the AA system is much more refined, but you have to start somewhere, and these books seem to be more readily available, and more importantly, in print, so you don't have astronomical costs.
