"Each soul is potentially Divine. The goal is to manifest this Divinity with in by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work or worship or psychic control or philosophy or by one or more all of these - and be free. This is whole of religion." - Swami Vivekananda

Are these references to Hatha, Bhakti, Raja, & Gnana Yoga respectively? If so, then it appears that basically the whole of the First Order of A.'.A.'. is based on Patanjali's system.

The first is reference to Karma Yoga. The rest are as you list them.

"If so, then it appears that basically the whole of the First Order of A.'.A.'. is based on Patanjali's system."

Only the Yoga part, which is less than half the curriculum. But yes, substantially.

The Student Reading Curriculum, to a degree, might be viewed as a loose reflection of the First Order curriculum in its totality...Raja Yoga could correspond to 0=0 as it gives a broad exposure to the 5 main subdivisions of Yoga taught throughout G.'.D.'., The Spiritual Guide to 1=10 & Tav on account of Molinos' first 'dark night' attributed to Tav, The Shiva Samhita to 2=9 for obvious reasons, Transcendental Magic to 3=8 is equally obvious, The Book of Abramelin to 4=7 & Dominus Liminis on account of the devotional elements contained therein, & The Tao Te Ching & Chuang Tzu to the newly initiated 5=6.

What does the other part of the curriculum consist of? Magical instruction?

Yes. And, in some of the grades, Thelemic philosophy. See each grade on www.OrdoAA.org for itemization of assigned tasks.
