I'm trying to relate a tarot card from the Thoth Deck to the process of birthing a child (from a female standpoint if possible)... I'm seeing 2 potential cards but wanted to know what other recommendations you all have:

    1. The Star (in the vital triads, the star is "the mother", and being heh, again the mother) - but I don't know if this is so much the birthing process, as being the Mother of all (seems more vast potential than act...)

    2. The Chariot - bearing life, almost looks like a woman giving birth in a way

    Thoughts?

PS: I was thinking about the Art card but that seems to be the process of gestation and the 9 months of carrying a child, and not the birthing.

And, to add to your mix, look closely at Atu XVIII, The Moon. (Think like a gynecologist.)

I always considered that card to represent more the period period... or, cunniling... or even the things one most block out during the exp... but birthing too? It seems far more to represent the path than the goal and isn't the birth of the child AN end?

So you mean the process, not the physiology? I usually give this all to The Empress, but there are numerous cards that could show some aspect of it.

Yeah, you did say that 😉

If you mean literal, physical birthing, that it has to eventuate in Malkuth - which brings me back to Qoph, the Corporeal Consciousness, which is primarily about the way that subconsciousness builds physical bodies.
