Locating A.'.A.'. Initiation

Well, I'm new to the site, but will probably be hanging around. I've recently discovered Thelema, and am glad to say that it is something that seems right to me.
Unfortunately I'm from Wisconsin and all attempts to find anyone in my vicinity that practices has ended in failure. I've been looking to join the A.'.A.'., sent a few e-mails asking about it (including one to the A.'.A.'. link in the red ticker in the corner) and haven't gotten any replies.
So, I come here now looking for resources. If anyone here knows anyone I can get in contact with or has any other advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

You aren't alone, awhile back I heard from a couple of other people privately who were in the same situation. Air fares are coming down in price, maybe in a year or less you could save up the money? It isn't impossible to do if you really want to be physically present. Just a thought.

As I also live in Wisconsin, I understand your plight. Use the previous recommendations for possible travel. I would also recommend a search through previous topics, as this question has been proposed a few other times with additional ideas and routes. I personally, patiently continue to study, practice, and improve myself. If it my fate, a teacher will present themselves. I hope for success, joy, and growth in your Work. -

I suggest doing a search, alot has been discussed on this subject. As has been said, there is alot available online, so much in fact that it can be confusing. As someone else suggested, trust your instincts.

I reccomend either of the main centres of A.:.A.:. initiation being California or New York. They are both true lineages and traveling is part of the experience. Crowley had to travel for his degrees and no matter who you are you always get much growth and learning out of travel. good luck!
