Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
To Whom This Introduction May Concern,
My name is Robert Tolliver. I am eighteen years old and I am a self-proclaimed Thelemite. I am new to Thelema, but I genuinely accept the Law. I am quite new, in fact, that I have yet to sign the Probationer Contract. I have a roomate, who is also a Thelemite, and a cousin, who claims she is a third Degree In the A:.A:. I would love to tell you more about myself, if you inquire so. Thank you for your time in reading my introduction.Sincerely, Robert Tolliver, Artifex Patronus]
Love is the law. Love under will.

Welcome! Just to say, though, if you're going to get involved in this stuff, it's probably wise to get into the habit of precision - for example, there is no "third Degree" in the A:.A:. The A:.A:. has Grades, not Degrees. (I'm not bothered about whether she's wrong or you're misremembering or there's some misunderstanding somewhere, or whatever, that's not important - this is just a bit of friendly advice )
This isn't about nit-picking for nit-picking's sake, rather it's about developing a *habit *of being precise (i.e. an automatism, not something you're constantly conscious about or worried about). Why? Well, precision and impeccability is helpful in life generally (e.g. in the workaday world), but on a more specific level connected with the subject matter of this board, if you're going to do astral work eventually, you have to have to have the famous "correspondences" (the stuff in Liber 777 and other qabalistic works) be drilled in, automatic, and they have to be the *right *correspondences (or as near right as possible). Another thing is, it's probably wise to be precise when quoting any of the Holy Books, and *especially *Liber AL.
Magick Without Tears is probably the best place to start to get an overview of all this, and the reasoning behind it.
Best of luck in your endeavours!
