"93,
i'm curious what the relationship is there for you between the title of the book and liber al 1:57?
i looked up the book out of my own curiosity and couldn't find any info.
speaking of indians, happy thanksgiving... "
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law,
I haven't read the book, I just found a reference to it in some loose leaf notes that were stuffed in an old copy of equinox 5-1 that I got awhile back. I don't know that there is any connection at all but I thought it might be worth investigating.

I hope the use of this forum is received well by it's members. I purchased this book recently and will give the LD asap. Thanks for the link. I've had it since I read the post but academic books seem to trump my time.
Looks good though!!

done.
the title is catchy and i found it a useful meditation. it's the same ol', same ol' as far as historical insight regarding the forging of america in the name of christianity and the slaughter of it. it does cover some of the contradiction that many people like to ignore, but it comes off a bit dated, because it is. i was bored by it in many areas. a better book would be "red earth, white lies" by vine deloria jr, and a host of others who really tackle the cross with wit and power.
again, the title is good and offers a lot to ponder on it's own. i was hoping the book would delve a bit into the snake clans of california and it misses it by a margin. he does reference the datura cults and the use of hallucinogens among many tribes (as well as fast and vision-questing).
thanks for the heads up on it!
