alarms for Liber Resh
-
If you're practicing Liber Resh and you happen to have an Android phone, a nice app called "Sundroid" lets you set alarms for sunrise, solar noon, and sunset (but not, sadly, solar midnight) for your location. It's quite flexible; mine is set to alarm 4 minutes before the exact time, for example. There are probably similar apps for other phone OSs.

There is also a website you can sign up for that will send you an SMS message based on whether you want actual sunrise, sunset, etc times based on your zip code or just 6, 12, 6 & 12.

Very cool site. Thanks. I am wondering what might be the best modification to do for those of us in the city. I would have to drive quite a distance to have a chance to see the sun unobstructed by a tree or a building. Is it necessary to have the sun in view? Is it even necessary to be outside?

Do you have an unobstructed view of the sun at midnight?

This is indeed a great little app. Thanks. The pro version ($1.99) will link to your geo-location to provide true sunrise, sunset and noontime, and allow you to customize alarms for each. Also, you actually CAN easily set an alarm for true midnight, simply by setting one up to ring 12 hours after true noon (or maybe 11:50 after, so you have a few minutes to prepare).
