    59. But I have called unto Thee, and I have journeyed unto Thee, and it availed me not.
    60. I waited patiently, and Thou wast with me from the beginning.
    61. This now I know, O my beloved, and we are stretched at our ease among the vines.

    59. But I have called unto Thee, and I have journeyed unto Thee, and it availed me not.
    60. I waited patiently, and Thou wast with me from the beginning.
    61. This now I know, O my beloved, and we are stretched at our ease among the vines.

    This isn't a true statement.

The catch 22 is that I have to know it to be true before it is true. I can't just say it and make it so. The beautiful image of Asi, wrought of finest gold, is going to rot in my arms and disgust me before this can happen. In the interim I will think myself to be a king, and I will play the fool. It will finally be the end only when I know all of this to be transformations of the one thing (the fulfillment of the Oath of the Abyss?).

Let me repeat it! Even though I can say it, it's not true. Rather, I dream that I am dreaming. In this dream I make a slow, exacting journey up the serpent—identifying with each segment of his extensive length. A black man stands opposite me—responder and witness. To say this is all one, or to assert that the reality behind all of these images is the beloved will not abrogate the necessity of this work or the ensuing ordeals.

I can travel towards the goal. I can even learn to wait. But knowing is still beyond me.

    Love and Will

The place where you are right now
God circled on a map for you
    wherever your eyes and arms
    and heart can move

Against the earth and the sky,
    the beloved has bowed there.

The beloved has bowed there knowing
    You were coming…

To strive for something gives an impression of not innatley possessing what is needed. When the subconscious mind realizes you are striving it then starts a journey. However, the journey is a circle and leads you back to the beginning. Possibly, when back at the beginning and maybe in despair, we wait. Possibly, we wait for something that we think is coming, but I feel that the waiting is an acknowledgement that there is nothing we can "do" to get where we are trying to go. Furthermore, there is no "where" and there is no "trying". In our "giving up" (Ruach giving up) we then are able to assimilate ourselves into the vine of life and stretch forth organically as a plant in the garden of the Master.

Reminds me of the gist of what Molinos stated and what I saw at the mall today "You are here". As I took Robert's comments, you can read that on the sign but still be lost. Learn to be still and silent, work on knowing.

" 59. But I have called unto Thee, and I have journeyed unto Thee, and it availed me not.

    1. I waited patiently, and Thou wast with me from the beginning. "

I repeat what I wrote on 5 June

    @Z O said

"The awakening has always been there from the beginning. Did God not say "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8)"

" 61. This now I know, O my beloved, and we are stretched at our ease among the vines. "

I have always considered vines as vines of knowledge. I wonder why they may both be stretched among the vine, unless they are considered to be a part of the vine.

However... This could also be a relationship to Nuit as she is stretched over the earth as grape vines are stretched over the earth.
