Hey I was just wondering if anyone here knows how active the Temple of Thelema and College of Thelema are in Toronto Canada? How often are meetings and how many people are involved? Sorry if this is a dumb question and if it is in the wrong location.

I have and they are sending me some information and an application in the mail. But I did not receive an answer as to how often they meet and how many people are involved. It's not really important at all I was just curious as to what to expect. What is important is the system not how many people are a part of it. Thanks for your reply.

That exact information is not discussed in public postings. Feel free to ask in private conversation during your interview.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Hathor Pronaos of Temple of Thelema ( www.thelema.org ) is proud to present: INITIATION AND THE PATH OF THE MAGICIAN on Saturday, August 25th from 6pm to 9pm at the World's Biggest Bookstore in Toronto, ON.

The Chiefs of Aiwass Temple in New York City will be presenting a 3-hour workshop on Love, Power, and Wisdom as it relates to the stages of Initiation in the Aeon of Horus.

Thelema is a philosophy of Magick that involves direct experience with the energies and forces that exist freely in nature, which are available to aid us in the fulfillment of the True Will. Although often referred to as "supernatural" or "occult", the truth is that these powers are inherent in the very core of our being and gradually revealed to us through the process of Initiation.

As Aleister Crowley wrote in Liber Causae Cap. I, v. 51: “In all systems of religion is to be found a system of Initiation, which may be defined as the process by which a man comes to learn that unknown Crown. Though none can communicate either the knowledge or the power to achieve this, which we may call the Great Work, it is yet possible for initiates to guide others. Every man must overcome his own obstacles, expose his own illusions. Yet others may assist him to do both, and they may enable him altogether to avoid many of the false paths, leading no whither, which tempt the weary feet of the uninitiated pilgrim. They can further insure that he is duly tried and tested... Now the Great Work is one, and the Initiation is one, and the Reward is one, however diverse are the symbols wherein the Unutterable is clothed.”

This unfolding of the True Self, which is the ultimate fulfillment of the deepest heartfelt need of every awakening individual, is the Next Step which we face as humans living in the modern age. There have existed, throughout all known periods of history, mystery schools that have served humanity by preserving and teaching these methods of self awareness. The College of Thelema was founded in the early 1970's in service to the A.'.A.'.—Crowley's primary system of mystical and magical attainment—and extended through the Temple of Thelema which further prepares the individual through initiation and regular group work in several locations throughout North America.
