I know I use the exact spots on the horizon for East and West, and to use the True South, facing the direction of the Sun from where I am for Noontime...

but with North, I've thought of using magnetic North, True North, but also making a true halfway point between Sunrise and Sunset for North, which is a little more towards the East than magnetic North where I am at.

What is the correct use of this in ritual? I'm drawn to use True North, where I am is more towards the East than magnetic north as well.

Thank you for your time and help.

Astronomically, midnight is the moment the Sun is on the IC; that is, when it is due north.

    Thank you Jim.

And yes Dar, it is "supposed" to be, but I find lying face down in the dirt, (I do adorations outside,) difficult when giving the sign of Auramoth.

You know I think you've got something there with the 360 degree somersault/wire-hang. Now I need to focus on preparing a pentagram ritual post dmt-blast in the beginning.

You know, I've been using herbs respectably, and I must say I've learned a lot going over the psychology of hashish again, particularly, (and obviously,) part 2, chapter V, where he explains how to recognize and balance your thought patters appropriately. It's pretty much the reason I asked this question to begin with. I consider the correct directions four of the focused thought patterns of the Earth.

I must ask another question in a new thread..

"I have this idea for an acrobatic Thelemic troop to tour the world... the flying Magicians! We'll hook 17 people up to wires in a tent with each person playing a quantum particle... (could really do with some twins actually for a convincing scene with the God Particle...) ... and they can bounce about doing choreographed flying rituals and intoning 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law!' 😀 😀 😀"

When I was a child I practiced to be circus performers, I do high wire, horseback, acrobatics and flying trapeeze....so count me in!
