Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

    lol

This will be my first Christmas (and fake New Year) since I "became" a full-fledged Thelemite. No, it wouldn't bother me. And yes, I'm "out of the closet". 😀

Love is the law, love under will.

"No, really, I just posted this to see if saying Merry Christmas would upset the Thelema crowd here. I'm wondering if it bothers people here if other people say Merry Christmas to you and if you are out of the closet with your immediate and extended family about your interest in Thelema."

    Merry X-mas to you too!

I love your cheeky idea 😄

And no, I have not been living in any kind of closet for a very long time 😉

PS: Perhaps of interest due to the spoken and unspoken question(s): I even celebrate X-mas with a tree and somesuch, and with family, but I - even we, thinking about it - do not celebrate the birth of christ (which probably was in march or april, by the way, anyways) but the people close to us. So I call it X-mas for a reason!

My entire life - even growing up Methodist - I have regarded Christmas as a civil orcultural holiday, not a religious one.

I didn't always have the language to explain that. I probably would have consented (even insisted) at points that it was a religious holiday (just based on the historical facts of its modern origin); but the feeling behind it was really more like "4th of July with presents, and with the beautiful lights inside the house for weeks instead of outside in the sky for an hour."

    So.. Merry Christmas.

PS - Let's put the XMen back into X-Mas!

I celebrate the Mass of Christ as the Festival of Lights
Providing warm, bright thoughts to carry us through the darkest hour

The 'Thelemic Un-Holy Season' begins with Thanks Giving
Where we ready our selves for the coming Winter
By storing up food and the warmth of our love ones
Taking stock, being full of thanks, for all the things that shall carry us through

We then decorate our houses with lights
So the nights do not seem so long
Dancing sugar plums, exchange of gifts
Keeps us moving till our Sun returns

Everyday is a feast day and a wonderful day to be alive!

I whole heartily admit that I perform blatant acts of cultural appropriation just so that I can have a reason to celebrate, everyday!

"maybe this attitude of good will to all men is Thelemic in that it is spreading astral love energy?"

How could it possibly be un-Thelemic tovwish everyone
    good will
    😆 👌 🆒 💡

The Latin word for "good will," BTW, is benevolentia - benevolence.

More pointedly, "the system" - the universe - only fully works when it works for everyone. Consider doing your will in a universe where others are not doing theirs (are not in their own "right path") to trying to drive down a freeway at high speed when nobody else knows what lane they're supposed to be. Please, **always **wish everyone the best of tidings in successfully and joyously living their own lives.

It takes every one of us to make the whole world work - every one of us for the whole to work smoothly. That's why we are each the Savior of the World.

    Merry Christmas.

    Thank you.

    Just...thank you.

A perfect compliment to the umpteen whiskey and cokes I've had for the Holidays.

Apparently I come from good, solid Irish stock.

Having seen the original of this film, you can imagine how hard I chuckled watching that over drinks.

    Happy Holidays, y'all.

You know, I may be a little late on this, but technically the word "Christ" means "Anointed" - Have some Oil of the Abramelin? No? How about some Olive oil in your pantry? Stick some on your forehead!

    Merry Christmas! 😄

Chrestos - Greek initiation name - anointed.

IHShVH - IHVH + Sh - Spirit element has manifested in the four "base" elements, god has become a human. (Or has a human become (a?!) god?)

ShM IHShVH - the name Jesus.

    Sh 300, M 40, I 10, H 5, Sh 300, V 6, H 5. Count the sum total of "the name Jesus": 666

    OK, merry Christmas 😄

And, per St. Paul, it isn't Jesus that liberated... but the NAME Jesus (ShM YHShVH = 666) that "shall set you free."
