Following in the footsteps of the Harpocrates Study Group in Venice, CA, we're working our way through Crowley's visions of the 30 Aethyrs. We've worked through the first 4 visions, and are getting ready to dive into the world of the 26th Aethyr, DES, this Thursday, September 6, 2011.We're using a method and format that is very similar to the one that the Harpocrates Study Group has been using successfully for their exploration. As they've described it:
"Every 14 days we will open a magick temple in a way that will waken your inner-plane senses and focus them on one of Crowley’s visions of the 30 Aethyrs. This isn't just an intellectual exploration -- the goal is quite different. Even if you have already devoured Crowley's classic, "The Vision & the Voice," these magical explorations will take you deeper. The visions speak in the language of your unconscious mind, and you will understand them in their "native tongue." Aspects of YOUR mind, normally dormant, will be exercised and strengthened. Undertaking these explorations as a group will intensify all of these effects, so your presence and participation also will strengthen the effect for others."

We've made it a little more than halfway though the 30 visions, and have really been enjoying them. In teens of effect, they seen to be getting more powerful as we progress.
