A question about Kether, Ain Soph, Ain Soph Ur
-
Hey everyone, this is my first post so be nice to me. I have a question that has always bugged me since I started studying Magick/Qabalah.
Different books say different things about the ultimate level of attainment. Some say that Kether is the highest level of achievement while others seem to say Kether is just another step on the ladder and that you have to go beyond it to the Ain Soph, Soph ur.
I just want to know other people's opinion on this. -
I don't think it ever stops.

Sure it does! It stops when you reach the rational and materialistic conclusion that it's all about just learning to be yourself.
Oh wait....
No...
It never stops.

So is it possible to go beyond Kether?

The Ipsissimus is one own very self, all things and nothing at once. From my Understanding this is a limited time offer, redeemable as often as possible but never permanent. Where one goes from there is beyond imagination.

Another possible answer is that to discover Kether of Assiah is to begin the exploration of the Malkuth of Yetzirah.

Yeah, but the next time around you get sparklers.

That would be my theoretical answer, yes. Just because 13th Century kabbalists used Ayin as another name for Kether doesn't foreclose later, finer distinctions.
Having become "most oneself" (likely by withdrawing the extensions which are phenomena of oneself), there is still room to cease being any particular self.

I wanna quote a friend. He posted (elsewhere) "Today's pop music, for those not blind, is more psychedelic than it ever was before." and then he followed with open.spotify.com/track/6sS0cYdBJCjTW9pgitwsCk

Thanks for all the answers.
