Starry magick?
-
Whereas we talk about "elemental magick", or "planetary magick", in many places, and both are practiced widely, "starry magick" seems more secret and mysterious.
What about instead of invoking elements or planets, we invoke stars and/or constellations? Some kind of work in that way. As elemental magick focus on yetzirah, and planetray magick does on briah, thus the starry one would focus on atziluth?! How does this seem to you?

Zodiacal magick is generally considered the third step past elemental and planetary - and a natural blending of the two, building them. Historically it was undertaken (in a GD style system) in the Second Order as a natural outgrowth of the planetary magick work. Nonetheless, from a pure-symbolism perspective, the field of stars is attributed to Chokmah.
So yes, I'd say you caught the symbolic vibe right. However, I'd question your scaling: Planetary magick is hardly Briatic per se (it was a standard of GD Second Order, which is an opening to Yetzirah), and I wouldn't take stellar or zodiacal magick as Atziluthic. The Atziluthic level focusses (let us say, for this discussion)... on ONE star in sight.

This is totally out of left field, and doesn't represent the work of any existing order or anything like that, but I've put up a log of some visionary/astral workings I've done with the 15 Behenian stars here (Blogspot sorts descending, so the first entry is at the bottom):
bookofsapphire.blogspot.com/search/label/behenian%20starThe workings referred to above definitely took place on the Yetziratic level. The "voices" of the stars are compiled from the results of several astral workings over a number of years. I post these simply as an example of some of the results of one person's work with a particular set of fixed stars.
