    THE ROOT OF
    THE POWERS OF THE WATERS
    Ace of Cups

Meditation Pattern: Place the Ace of Cups between Atu XII, The Hanged Man and Atu XIII, Death.

Qabalistic Correspondences: The seed or root of elemental Water. Kether of Water, or Kether in Briah.

Traditional Description: A White Radiant Angelic Hand, issuing from clouds, and supporting on its palm a cup, resembling that of the Purifier. From it rises a fountain of clear and glistening water; and sprays falling on all sides into clear calm water below, in which grow lotuses and water-lilies. The great Letter of the Supernal Mother Heh is traced in the spray of the Fountain.

Meaning: Water in its most secret and original form. It symbolizes Fertility – is productiveness, conception, beauty, love, pleasure, happiness, etc.

    • Grace, permissiveness, clemency, devotion, adaptability, fertility; accepting, receiving.
    • Mem & Nun: the death of mind; non-ego; consciousness of the Transcendence through its reflection in existence (the limited).

    • Flow; openness; Form-giving; uterus, Mother, arch-matrix of life on Earth (oceans, the “world’s seas”).
    • Ability/power of changing states (liquid, solid, gas): from its interaction with Fire, Water gives birth to the other two Elements.
    • Power of the Snake – Kali, Shakti, etc.
    • Mysteries of the Deep (while Fire corresponds to Mysteries of the Height)
    • Blood – “vessel” for the stream of Life, and also Light
    • Sounds M and N come from closing the free outflow of air in the mouth, and the air goes through the nose (they can not be made with the nose closed, unlike all the other sounds!) and they are continuous, have a vocal character, although consonants...

    • The root of the mind is beyond-mind (Mem + Nun); its nature is reflection.
    • Abundance of fertility, “Nature is a whore” in the sense of “Uterus open for everyone”; the giver-of-Form.
    • The root of Mass and Matter.
    • The aspect of sexuality that relates to ecstasy-of-dissolution.

    Day one:
submitting to transformation, receiving and learning to receive, the beginning of an inner journey, acknowledging one's feminine side, beginning to submit to a higher power, the beginning of an emotional bond.

    Day two:
Getting present to the domain of emotional pursuits and emotional fulfillment, connection, admiration, romance the beginning of a romantic affair, the potential for love and affinity to arise, sharing, secrets, devotion, we centered instead of me-centered (all of the above as a realm of possibility

    Day three:
The beginning of a period of emotional maturity, nurturing, emotional intoxication , sharing how you really feel (the foundation for authenticity),
