Magickal Formulae
-
I'm experimenting with the use of vibration of different words of power and I want to use the different magickal fromulae for the different quarters.
I placed IHVH on the East, ARARITA on the South, IAO on the West and VITRIOL on the North.
Would you change that arrangement?
I placed IHVH in the East to represent the cosmic creation and cosmic unfoldment, ARARITA on the South to represent the fiery 7 and the power of Hathor(even though its meaning is "One is His Beginning: One is His Individuality: His Permutation is One"), IAO in the West to represent the sun setting and potentially to be reborn and regenerated, and VITRIOL on the North to represent the power of seven planets on the human being and the living body of our earth.
This arrangement is very intuitive so input is appreciated. -

Why IAO in the West? Are you thinking of it primarily as a Dying God formula, for example? (That isn't at all how I'd ever use that formla, which I take as the chief formula of Tiphereth itself, but YMMV.)
Why ARARITA in the South?
For that matter, why YHVH in the East? (I know, you explained it below, but take it here as rhetorical.) This is obvious if you are taking it as the Name of Air - but then you haven't followed with that in the others. You could certainly do so, though, and have a wonderful set of formulae by using YHVH in the East, ALHYM in the South, AL in the West, and ADNI in the North.
"I placed IHVH in the East to represent the cosmic creation and cosmic unfoldment, "
But YHVH isn't the Hebrew creative power - the Creator is Elohim.
