The other day I was reading The Mystical Qabalah and I came across these quotes that got me thinking: "The virtue of Binah is silence....silence indicates receptivity. If we are silent, we can listen, and so learn." ("The Mystical Qabalah", pg 146, paragraphs 46-47). After reading this I automatically thought of HPK, and figured there must be a relationship between the two if the virtue of Binah is silence and HPK is all about silence. So I guess my question would be, is HPK a deification of the virtue of Binah? I'm very curious to see how these two are related.

ShariyfNot usually regarded as such, no. There are other places that Silence is a virtue. (In Kether in one sense; in Malkuth in another; related to Earth and Water; etc.)
The one sense where I think you could stretch this (or, find it relevant in a specialized way on a particular occasion) is that, though, a male infant, HPK is regarded often as the feminine-themed half of the twin Heru-Ra-Ha.
And HPK's surrounding egg is, of course, the womb.
But normally HPK wouldn't be a Binah correspondence.

Thanks Jim, I was a little confused. I had attributed HPK to Tiphareth, but I kinda took the "silence is a virtue of Binah..." and ran with it."There are other places that Silence is a virtue. (In Kether in one sense; in Malkuth in another; related to Earth and Water; etc.)
