Astrological question
-
93,
I have an astrological question.
Has any one on this forum been thru a Pluto Transits in there Natal Moon?
I spoke with a friend yesterday who is interested in astrology. She told me about this aspect. She said it should last for about a year. Problem is, everything that I have seen on this aspect suggest that I am in for a rough ride.
So, I guess I have two questions, they are.-
Has any one on this forum been thru a Pluto Transits in there Natal Moon?

Are there any benefits to this aspect?
Thank you

Sure. I remember quite clearly the opposition, and not long ago had the square.

Two years on-and-off is more like it. And, of course, there are benefits.
Here's my standard interpretation of the transit:
Powerful emotional changes are occurring in you. Primarily this marks a psychological purgation, rousing then cleansing long-stored emotional tensions. Though possibly uncomfortable at the time, perhaps inclining you to a more compulsive, reactive way of being, the result is usually a refreshing sense of liberty and new control over one's life. Freedom, in fact, is something very important to you now, showing in rebellion or an urge to "get away from it all." Relationships and domestic circumstances may go through major changes. Remember, though, that these only reflect your inner turmoil and priority shifts. An excellent time for psychotherapy or any other conscious delving into your psychological roots.

Thank you for your reply and time Jim, I am sure you are very busy.
Jim, I have started looking at Atu 2 & Atu 20 last night to try and get a feel for the coming two years. Is there any other rituals or meditations that you might recommend?
Btw; my moon is in my second house.
Again Thank You

More than ritual etc., the real preparation for this is to look at unresolved psychological patterns, look at the integrity and health of your close emotional relationships, etc. The most useful meditation is that which simply lets you get closer to listening to your psychological roots, and being nonreactive and at peace with whatever is true about yourself (whether your label it 'good' or 'bad').
But also be open to be taken by surprise! This transit is more likely to be rough if you try to plan for it and control it. You can't control it - control will be ripped away from you. The whole point is that it strips away things that are inauthentic and not arbitrary, and leaves your emotional state more honest and free of them. The key, when it happens, is to manifest the best of the Moon: feel, surrender, respond, adapt in real-time relationship to what is arriving in your life both internally and environmentally.
