Thelemic Libers PDF
-
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law,
I'm putting together some pdfs of the Thelemic Libers in an effort to make them more available. I'm missing a few though. If anyone has them, I would appreciate it if they would make their files available to me. The Libers I'm missing are:
Liber 17 vel IAO
Liber 100 vel Agape
Liber 265 vel The structure of the mind
Liber 808 vel Serpentis Nehushtan
Liber 934 vel The CactusThe last I thought appeared in one of the first equinox series but I have been unsuccessful in finding it.
The libers are being incorporated into larger pdfs. I have one with all the libers in numerical order, fully indexed. It's about 25 Mb.
I have a second pdf in which I've incorporated all the Equinox series. The texts missing from this one are:
Equinox Vol. 3 No. 9
Equinox Vol. 3 No. 10
Equinox Vol. 4 No. 1
Equinox Vol. 5 No. 2
Equinox Vol. 5 No. 3
Equinox Vol. 5 No. 4
Equinox Vol. 7 No. 1None of these texts need to be in pdf format necessarily, although pdf is a better format. If need be, I can convert even a plain text format file into a pdf. If you have any of the missing texts please reply in the thread or via pm. Thanks in advance.

Probably not extant

"Liber 100 vel Agape"
Not for Publication and under copyright (the latter is something that applies to most of what you'd like to translate to pdf)

They don't, formally. There were some organizations, many years after Crowley's Equinox, that did some publications that they titled The Equinox and took a stab at making a sort of continuation of it.

According to current OTO policy. (It's a strange use of copyright to keep things out of publication, isn't it?) Many Thelemites believe that these works of Crowley should be as publicly available as all of the others.
Far be it from me to condone circulating illegal copies of these books, but can't one just go to Google with either the complete title (or a snippet of unique text from inside) to find lots of interesting stuff?
And, it's pretty well known that the book in question is called AGAPE vel LIBER C vel Sal Philosophorum, isn't it??
Anyway, I'm not intending to stir up a hornet's nest regarding OTO policy, since I'm not a member. I apologize if the above "hints" constitute anything stepping over the line for this forum.

Well, Liber Agape may be under copyright, but, to my knowledge there are very few libers that copyright owners have raised a fuss over. Liber 73 vel The Urn being one that the OTO has contacted many sites and threatened lawsuits if it wasn't removed. But now the urn can be found widely available. There is another that the name escapes me at the moment, and of course OTO will probably not like the fact that I did find a copy of a text Titled Liber C vel Agape a couple hours ago. But for the most part site owner's are permitted to distribute most libers (and in fact many of the libers I own on pdf have a legal license tagged on at the beginning of the file.

Yeah, I think Motta was (in charge of?) involved in the publication of the fifth series, which were mostly just reprints or first prints of rare material by crowley. V-1 is the same as "The Law Is For All: The Authorized Popular Commentary of Liber Al Vel Legis Sub Figura CCXX, the Book of the Law", but with added commentary by Marcello Ramos Motta.

I hope you write here when you are done collecting libris and they are available. It always fun to have the books IRL but nice as well to get the whole lot on the computer as well.

I'd love to make them available through this site. I haven't contacted Jim personally about it yet. How about it Jim? I'll understand if we have to leave some out due to copyrights (although it'll be shame). Like I said, I think I've got just about every Liber by crowley, and many others by other authors, all in pdf format.

If you all point your browsers over to www.hermetic.com, a huge amount of the Libris are already on there.

I was moreof just pointing out that there are similar projects already ongoing, with a dedicated hosting and website for it.

Ok guys, so I've been out for a long time but I'm here to update this post and project.
Here is a link [REMOVED BY ADMINISTRATOR FOR VIOLATION OF FORUM RULES, WARNING ISSUED] to a PDF version of the entire project in one file, fully bookmarked and indexed!! Enjoy that.
Here is a link [REMOVED BY ADMINISTRATOR FOR VIOLATION OF FORUM RULES, WARNING ISSUED] to a folder containing all the PDF files individually.
I'm aware that a couple of the files may be false copies. I'm not here to debate the legitimacy of them.

Again, I state my concern: This site doesn't let you access them unless you log in. I am highly resistant to pointing people do download sites that require creating trackable identities.
People can/should make their own decisions, of course. As an IT security professional, this is exactly the type of site that concerns me the most.
Besides, the stuff is all available in other sites given in the Links section.
