Quintile

Is there a Thelemic interpretation of this aspect? I have found most explanations lacking.

There is no distinctly Thelemic interpretation, no.

this is the wrong thread now but, what is your interpretation of it?

A quintile aspect in astrology is a seperation of 72° (a division of 360° by 5). Most of what I've read about the aspect refers to the 5 being numerologically connected to Mercury but I tend to think of Geburah and Mars with 5.
Sepher Sephiroth offers:
mist, vapor
back; food
elevation, top; pit, water-hole -
I recommend you don't try to mix Qabalah and astrology.
Qabalah uses astrological symbols for its own purposes - and Qabalistic and astrological ideas will intersect in many (but by no means all) situations. It will lead to errors, though, if you try to apply Qabalistic interpretation to astrological matters.
Similarly, it will lead to error if you try to discern astrological meaning by any fashion other than empirical observation. A priori speculation doesn't cut it.

Have you observed anything about this aspect?

Yes, but I've been carefully not answering because it's about a one-hour lecture to explain it. (I gave that lecture at a few astrology conferences back in the late '70s.) Certain concepts have to be set up etc., and I really don't have the time to develop it here.
The one thing I can say is that for most people in most circumstances of consulting astrology, the aspect isn't going to be relevant. Is there a particular reason you have a special interest in it? It's quite obscure.

Jupiter has a lot going for it in my chart and among other things its Quintile with Neptune. I calculated the aspect during my computation because I had a list of aspects in front of me and I wanted to see if I could find an explanation of its influence I found satisfying or if I should cease it's calculation.

For understanding your basic character, this aspect probably won't contribute anything.
This is even more true since it involves two outer planets. Though there is meaning in outer planet aspects (e.g., my own Jupiter-Neptune square, and even the Uranus-Neptune square), these slow aspects affected millions of people born in the same period of time and do much less to differentiate an individual from his or her peers.
To the extent that the Jupiter-Neptune combined energies are showing in your psyche, here's an interpretation: olunars.net/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=31#p162

Any chance we might get to read a digest of this lecture on solunars.net?

Sure, if I can find 30-year-old casset tapes buried in goodness knows what closet and they're still workable and somebody wants to transcribe them. How 'bout, say, early in the 22nd Century?

I'll have to leave my future incarnations a note to check that out.
