What are the fundamental differences between these two aspects of the Thelemic Trinity? I know that the O.T.O. favors the latter, but only the former is given in Liber Legis. Are there any differences?

    93,

They are both representing the Three-in-One or the Three-in-Naught to be a bit more accurate. One is more abstract and one more 'earthly' but theyre both the Two-in-One/Three-in-None and such.

I could be wrong but I think Babalon and Chaos are Nuit and Hadit as they appear in the middle Sephirot.

Qabalistically, Nuit and Hadit are 0 (No-thing/Naught/Perfect) whereas Babalon is 3 (Binah) and Chaos is 2 (Chokmah)... Although its really Beast-and-Babalon-Conjoined which is really just a symbol for Unity, etc. (see my post above). You could say one is vertically balanced and the other horizontally balanced, but thats a matter of taste and style.

I’ve always understood Nuit as 0 and Hadit as 1 (Kether). Certainly, that would better correspond to the vertical/horizontal balance.
