I ask because his verse seems to imply that he was not.

Based on Liber A'ash, I asked Regardie. He assured me that Crowley was circumcised.

The English don’t practice circumcision, so I don’t know why you’d expect he was. But for what it’s worth, in Do What Thou Wilt, Sutin interprets a passage from Confessions to mean that he had an adult circumcision to treat an infection (rather severely!). Either way, Crowley was writing for an audience that wouldn’t have considered the foreskin unusual. And surely it’s a significant enough part of the male anatomy to warrant mention in sex magick instruction! The yogis consider it one the sixteen vital parts!

93 Recently i have found out i need to be circumcised ,the operation will be carried out within a hospital enviroment .Are there any rituals available along Thelemic lines that one can use that would make it more symbolic than just getting foreskin snipped 9393/93

Oh, at the very least, start with a banishing ritual and then read Liber A'ash aloud with all due pageantry.

You could also (for example) adapt the traditional Bris ceremony to your own tastes, and make the event (as does the bris) a blood-sacrifice to your god, pledging to use His image in the microcosm to be a coparticipant in the ongoing act of creation.

If you are aloud to keep the skin, you could create a ceremony to Nuit, with the theme of a beautiful new you offering your shedded skin to Her, creating a sacred space in some fertil earth, enriching the earth with your nutrients before you delve into the rich earth and plant a baby tree.

I would personally think I would like some sort of validation of the beauty of the organ, it's continual strength, and source of pleasure. trees are good symbols of that, and at this time of yearn. We get the fun filled activity of decorating all these beautiful trees, adorning them with silver and gold, bells and balls, and stars. You could handicraft a personal ornament as a symbol of the event, or buy one.

    A little off topic...
Though, I went through all the 'rituals' of the Catholic faith.
Against my "Will" I thought for a long time.
Recently I have considered how those Oaths taken
    Have had a powerful effect...
Also, I can not say I am entirely against the message of Jesus
It is more the interpretation put forth by the Church...

There is no reason to toss them aside:
When you accept them as Oaths before God
    Not some organization

I wasn't aware that Isreal Regardie 'understood' this issue.

The relationship was more than professional.

As Crowley's secretary, he lived in Crowley's apartment. I didn't both to ask for fine details, but it was evident that there was occassion (e.g., when one was readying for a bath - in Paris in the 1920s) for Regardie to see the evidence.
