Would someone please translate Estai and Meral for me? Any additional info on why the Soror's choose their names would be wonderful.

Estai (koine Greek) future first person singular of "to be" = "I shall be"

And "Meral" was a contrived word to express Phyllis' magical formula. She created it by writing her initial articulation of her True Will (in English) in Hebrew cognates and getting 276. She then composed a word that would add to 276. She told me she wanted to be sure to have the -AL in it for Liber AL, which left 245, and this remnant easily provided the R, M, and H. The rest was scrabble!

I noted that the three parts were all linked in the letter Mem: mer- being a broad water-related root, -AL being the Divine Name of Water, and the whole, 276, being the Mystic Number of the 23rd Path. She kindly told me I was nuts and it meant no such thing! (I took this to mean that she hadn't ever consciously thought that particular thing about it 😆 ). Since it was her motto, I didn't press the point, but privately chuckled since the whole arose out of the phrase, I will to love (Y VYLL TO LOVH = 10 + 76 + 79 + 111 = 276).
