calling archangels in lbrp

was wandering when you call then and visualize them do you do it with eyes open or closed? or does it matter? im reading israel regardies middle pillar, its awsome b/c he goes into alot of psychological detail and visual detail, but didnt say if you call them with eyes open or closed.

[Edited]For me, the Archangels are witnessing what I'm performing, as well as affecting my state of mind. So I see their eyes as open.
And to answer your actual question
I usually have my own eyes open. Oddly, I see the Archangels with my non-physical eye more clearly like that.93 93/93,

ok ya i was just wanderin, i cant see anything with my eyes just yet, but i can slightly imagine it lol.with tracing the pentagrams regardie said to trace it then close your eyes and visualize it in bluish gold flame(mabye tracing it, then closing your eyes and seeing the imprint on your retina and focusing on it enhances the imprint making more visible after you open your eyes?) but ile give both ways a shot.

It had never even occurred to me to close my eyes during a ritual. Now I suppose I'll have to try it. When you learn to use a microscope or telescope, you're taught to keep both eyes open even though you're only looking through one. I always figured doing a ritual was like that -- you're eyes are open but you're not really (or mainly) looking through them.
