    History of this:

In my article "One Bird in Flight" (which explains the system of the Great Beige Brotherhood), I made reference to The Book of the In-Laws and quoted a couple of passages from it.

Craig Berry then took this and ran with it - writing the whole book.

Since, when he wrote the book, he didn't include everything that I'd quoted from the book, we had the pleasure of immediately starting religious wars (OK, skirmishes) on the issue of scriptural integrity of The Book of the In-Laws. To me, this granted it true authenticity as a genuinely genuine religious document.

I always wondered who was behind this - it's very clever. Jim, is "One Bird in Flight" publicly available?

93, Love that book. Been a while since I read it, but I don't think I made it far before laughing. Lol.

Couldn't get beyond I:6 without giggling. It's fantastic to be able to laugh at one's own religion! And yet there seem to be hidden truths in all the humor!

Thanks so much to those who contributed to this. 😀

    I made it to I:29.

    1. For I am divided by zero for
      the chance of confusion.
      30. This is the curriculum of Math;
that the pain of long division
is nothing, and the agony of
      Calculus, all.
      31. Screw you all! I've got mine,
      Jack.

    "Just say Nu!" ahahaha brilliant.

I staved off laugher until this and then cracked up.

"14. There once was a Goddess, Nuit,
Who dated a God named Hadit.
    When Ankh-af-na-khonsu
Saw what they were up to
    He shouted "Hail Ra-hoor-khuit!""
