Since Avshalom has shared some of his personal work I have been inspired to share what I have been working on. I have been practicing ceremonial magick for a few years, and have found my temple openings, although effective, a bit dry. I confess I love Reagardie's Ceremonies in the Golden Dawn, but could not identify with a great deal of the invocations. As I love solomonic magick and prayer, I set to resolve this issue of a Thelemic Temple opening that pulls form some of my favorite Ceremony by AC: Liber XV. The temple is similar t a mass temple, with the modification of a single altar for practical magick with the Super Altar in the east. I happen to have sub-altars in the North and south for my stations of Water and Fire.
I must admit that I just started using this temple opening quite recently and was surprised by it's effectiveness, even with the script in hand!
Please feel free to criticize, tweak, or use this temple opening:

    Gnostic Mass Temple Opening

    Candle Lighting Prayer:

“I am the Heart; and the Snake is entwined

About the invisible core of the mind.

Rise, O my snake! It is now is the hour

Of the hooded and holy ineffable flower.

Rise, O my snake, into brilliance of bloom

On the corpse of Osiris afloat in the tomb!

O heart of my mother, my sister, mine own,

Thou art given to Nile, to the terror Typhon!

Ah me! but the glory of ravening storm

Enswathes thee and wraps thee in frenzy of form.

Be still, O my soul! that the spell may dissolve

As the wands are upraised, and the aeons revolve.

Behold! in my beauty how joyous Thou art,

O Snake that caresses the crown of mine heart!

Behold! we are one, and the tempest of years

Goes down to the dusk, and the Beetle appears.

O Beetle! the drone of Thy dolorous note

Be ever the trance of this tremulous throat!

I await the awaking! The summons on high

From the Lord Adonai, from the Lord Adonai!”

    Give single knock, and say:
    “Procul, O Procul Este Profani.”
West of the Altar ring bell 353 and give Sign of Enterer to Super Altar:
“Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. I proclaim the Law of Light, Life, Love, and Liberty in the name of IAO.”
“Love is the law, love under will.”
Give the Sign of Silence, going right into Star Ruby.
    Combine Salt and Water Saying:
“Let the salt of Earth admonish the water to bear the virtue of the Great Sea. (Genuflects.) Mother, be thou adored.”
    Purify Temple.
    Combine Incense and Fire:
Let the Fire and the Air make sweet the world! Father, be thou adored.
    Consecrate Temple.
Go to the Super Altar and adore the Shrine saying:
“O circle of Stars whereof our Father is but the younger brother, marvel beyond imagination, soul of infinite space, before whom Time is Ashamed, the mind bewildered, and the understanding dark, not unto Thee may we attain, unless Thine image be Love. Therefore by seed and root and stem and bud and leaf and flower and fruit do we invoke Thee.”
“Then the priest answered & said unto the Queen of Space, kissing her lovely brows, and the dew of her light bathing his whole body in a sweet-smelling perfume of sweat; O Nuit, continuous one of Heaven, let it be ever thus; that men speak not of thee as One but as None; and let them speak not of thee at all, since thou art continuous.”
    Above, the gemmed azure is
    The naked splendour of Nuit;
She bends in ecstasy to kiss
    The secret ardours of Hadit.
The winged globe, the starry blue,
    Are mine, O Ankh-af-na-khonsu!
“O secret of secrets that art hidden in the being of all that lives, not Thee do we adore, for that which adoreth is also Thou. Thou art That, and That am I.”
“I am the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star. I am Life, and the giver of Life; yet therefore is the knowledge of me the knowledge of death. I am alone; there is no God where I am.”
I am the Lord of Thebes, and I

    The inspired forth-speaker of Mentu;

For me unveils the veiled sky,

    The self-slain Ankh-af-na-khonsu

Whose words are truth. I invoke, I greet

    Thy presence, O Ra-Hoor-Khuit!

    Rise and say:
    “IO IO IO IAO SABAO
KURIE ABRASAX KURIE MEITHRAS KURIE PHALLE.
IO PAN, IO PAN PAN IO ISXURON, IO ATHANATON IO ABROTON IO IAO. XAIRE PHALLE KAIRE PANPHAGE KAIRE PANGENETOR.
HAGIOS, HAGIOS, HAGIOS IAO.”
Begin to circumambulate the temple chanting the Holy Mantra:
    “A ka dua

    Tuf ur biu

bi a'a chefu

    Dudu nur af an nuteru.”

Stop in the West and Face East, raising arms slowly and saying:
“O Lion and O Serpent that destroy the destroyer, be mighty among us.” 3x
The third time, giving the Sign of the Enterer to the Shrine.
    Ring Bell 353
Invocation to Ain Soph or say with the upmost solemnity:
    **Mu pa telai,
    Tu wa melai
    a, a, a.
    Tu fu tulu!
    Tu fu tulu
    Pa, Sa, Ga.

    Qwi Mu telai

    Ya Pu melai;

u, u, u.
'
    Se gu malai;

Pe fu telai,

    Fu tu lu.

    O chi balae

    Wa pa malae:
    ---
Ut! Ut! Ut!

    Ge; fu latrai,

Le fu malai

    Kut! Hut! Nut!

    Al OAI
    Rel moai
    Ti—Ti—Ti!
    Wa la pelai
    Tu fu latai
    Wi, Ni, Bi.
    **
(the translation is in the Vision and the Voice the 2nd Aethyr)
<Or one may substitute with Unity uttermost, etc.. Whatever is deemed appropriate by the magician.>
Follow with the Anthem from the Mass:

“Thou who art I, beyond all I am,

Who hast no nature and no name,

Who art, when all but thou are gone,

Thou, centre and secret of the Sun,

Thou, hidden spring of all things known

    And unknown, Thou aloof, alone,

Thou, the true fire within the reed

Brooding and breeding, source and seed

Of life, love, liberty, and light,

Thou beyond speech and beyond sight,

Thee I invoke, my faint fresh fire

    Kindling as mine intents aspire.

    Thee I invoke, abiding one,

Thee, centre and secret of the Sun,

    And that most holy mystery

Of which the vehicle am I.

Appear, most awful and most mild,

As it is lawful, in thy child!”

    ABRAHADABRA
    Ring bell 3-5-3
    Perform desired working.
Follow with Mass of the Phoenix
Reverse circumambulate, and give license to depart.
    Purify and Consecrate Temple.
    Star Ruby.
    Single knock:
“I declare this temple duly closed. So mote it be. ABRAHADABRA”

    Sorry for the huge post!

Is this in Thelema literature... I am readiing and doing rituals.. I do not have a room set aside as a temple as of yet. I do have a magical area, that I painted on a cloth and I may put it in the temple when I make one.

    Thanks
