The Tree of Life and the A.'.A.'. grade system
-
I saw a diagram of the Tree of Life with the A.'.A.'. grades plotted out on it, as well as the corresponding planets, in a book (Aleister Crowley and the Practice of the Magical Diary). One thing I noticed was that Saturn, corresponding to Magister Templi, was followed by Magus, corresponding to Neptune. Why is Uranus skipped?

In that arrangement Uranus falls on Da'ath which for this purpose might correspond to the Babe of the Abyss.
-
But for one thing, Saturn falls on Binah, which comes after Daath. For another, in 'Magical and Mystical Systems of the A.'.A.'.,' it says that the robes of a Babe of the Abyss are useful for rites of Saturn.

I wouldn't put much stock in any planetary attribution past the traditional seven. I could give you one great argument why Chokmah should be Neptune, and another why Chokmah should be Uranus. These result from experiment and hypothesis, not any established tradition.
Good food for thought that Pluto has been attributed both to Kether and Malkuth.
