    Re: the stele of revealing.
Have any attempts ever been made to claim it as a religious artifact or some such thing and thus belonging rightly to Thelema and not the Egyptian dept. of Antiquities (although they do a lot of good)
Was just rereading and thought about this.

The Stele of Revealing was named thus by Crowley, and in this capacity, it is possible that this stele is regarded as a religious artifact, especially by Thelemites; otherwise, like most stelae, it is simply a commemorative expression in a slab of wood or stone, beloging to no one.

I think it is just fine where it is. The stele has served its purpose, let it rest in peace 😄

It is closed in locked glass. That's what Liber L. said to do with it.

^^^^ Did not know that, semi-neophyte here and a bit too literalist when it comes to the BOTL. I apologize for this thread.

Dare I say...that Crowley should have used the Ritual of Invisibility and acquired the Stele directly after receiving the Book of the Law...and that perhaps said Stele is the rock upon which a Thelemic heirarchy might be established?

Anyone here ever been in the presence of an Ancient Stele? They are talismans of the highest calibre. Potent

But perhaps I am too literal. 😉
