Construction of the Enochian tablet?

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
I am not familiar with tablets in general but in 776 ½ the first sample ritual calls for an Enochian table to be placed on the altar. My question is this. Should the Enochian tablet be in black & white or in color? Also, is there any other special consideration regarding handling of the tablet?

The Spirit tablet should have a white background, with the letters in the elemental colors. Here's a color picture:
